Owen is obsessed with Cicada shells.
Everyday, we have to go to each tree and see how many shells he can find. He loves to hang them on his shirt, line them up on the tree or just tote them around with him.

Just like Bub
Owen decided to get creative with marker the other day. When asked why he drew on himself he said, "I just like Bub."
Bub is his cousin who has tattoos on his arms.

Chillin'
This is what Keegan does these days when he is taking his bath.
Notice his legs and how he has his little feet in the water.

Ike Effect
So crazy to be talking about Hurricane Ike here in Indiana, but yesterday we had some MAJOR winds.
We ended up fine here just lost quite a few limbs and branches. We were also without power from 11:30 - 4:20. That was really not fun at all, especially on football Sunday.
Owen was also cute. He decided about an hour into us having lost power that he wanted to watch TV. I explained to him how we couldn't because we did not have power. His answer, "Well, go find it." I am glad someone finally found our power and sent it back home.
Downtown here had the most damage with blown out windows, walls off of some places, siding and roof shingles.
Knowing the destruction here, I am thinking of all down south that are dealing with recovering from Ike.

Are you ready for some football???
Woo Hoo
It is finally that time of year again, football season!
We love to watch football in this house and on Sundays you can find all the kids decked out in their Tampa Bay Buccaneer gear.
This year was no different, except that we added a new member to our team.

"Jingle Bell"
No, it is not Christmas I am refering to.
We were on our way out to dinner Saturday evening when all of a sudden Owen says, "Jingle bell, I eat there." John and I both looked at each other then I asked him, "What did you say?" He pointed and said, "Jingle bell."
For those wondering "Jingle bell" is also known as Taco Bell.

My listener...
Last night we had open house at Bryce's school. He was so excited to be able to show Owen his room since O had not seen it yet. Owen of course loved it and jumped right in. I was talking with Bryce's teacher who said he is doing awesome! Bryce comes over and shows me this star and says it is on his desk. I notice he is the only kid with said star. On the star it said, " #1 listener." I am so proud of my boy!!!! He is doing so amazing in Kindergarten and loves every minute of it.

Read to me...
I was starting a load of laundry this morning when I walked back in to this. I had no choice but to pick up my camera and record the sweetness that was going on.
Bryce is such an amazing big brother to Keegan and you can see how much he cares as he reads to him.

Keegan's First Month
A review of my first month....
After 6 hrs of labor and many weeks of everyone anticipating my arrival, I am here.

One month old
How has it already been a month!??!?!
Time is already flying by!
Our sweet boy has grown so much this month. He was born weighing 6 lb 14 oz and as of yesterday, he weighed 9 lb 5 oz. I guess I make cream rather than milk.
Keegan has been such a joy to add to our family. He is the best baby ever. I still say that, "I am waiting for the other shoe to drop." Though, I am starting to believe we might have just lucked out and got a great little baby. Bryce and Owen were never this easy going. He is doing wonderfully and rarely fusses. His nights are great. Friday and Saturday night he actually slept 7.5 hrs before waking to eat. Amazing since Owen at well over a year was still not sleeping that well. I am sure at this point it won't be consistent but I will take it.

Here we go....
Due to the popularity of blogs on my mommy board I am willing to give it a shot in the blog world.
There are many exciting things that go on in a house full of all boys and hopefully I will be able to keep this up to date and people can take a peek into our house.
